Year 10

'Prepare today, succeed tomorrow'

As we come to the end of the school year, we’d like to congratulate our Year 10 students on a fantastic finish to 2025.

Their approach to the exam period was calm, focused and genuinely impressive. The maturity shown during the Semester 2 exams demonstrated significant growth from the first Year 10 exams in Semester 1 and for many students across the cohort, this was a strong indicator that they are ready for the challenges of VCE and VCE VM next year.

One of the highlights of our final weeks was the Year 10 Celebration Lunch. We enjoyed a relaxed walk to Akoonah Park, shared fish and chips together, spent time socialising, and took the opportunity to recognise students who have consistently upheld our school values.

Congratulations to our top Green Chronicle earners for 2025:

Emily Spackman, Cooper Campbell, Edie Smith, Anisha Ahmedi, Isabelle Chalmers, Alisha Softley and Abisayan Manivannan. We also acknowledged students who achieved over 98% attendance across the entire year - a remarkable show of resilience and determination. Well done to Cooper Campbell, Stuart Black, and Archer Hoarau for their outstanding commitment.

Congratulations also to the following students who were awarded an Academic Excellence, CRESCAM or Speciality Award at our 2015 Presentation Night held at Bunjil Place.

To our families, thank you for your ongoing support, communication and encouragement throughout the year. Your partnership makes all the difference in helping us to ensure students achieve their personal best. Whether through staying connected, guiding your child’s learning at home, or collaborating with us during key moments, your commitment has helped shape a strong and supportive learning environment for every student.

To our students, thank you for the effort, the curiosity and the willingness to take on new challenges. You have contributed to a positive, vibrant and resilient Year 10 cohort, and we are incredibly proud of each of you.

As you step into VCE and VCE VM, we leave you with some key reminders to:

  • access the 2026 booklist and purchase the required materials you will need

  • check in with your teachers so you are clear on holiday homework expectations

  • remember the importance of maintaining above 90% attendance to set yourselves up for success

  • keep an eye out on Compass for important communications from your Senior School team

  • ensure you’ve read the information from IT regarding the change from Google to Microsoft.

We wish every student the very best as they begin the next stage of their secondary schooling. Have a safe and restful break, and we look forward to seeing you thrive in the new year.
