PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Mrs Jillian Rainger

Today, representatives from Holy Trinity School attended the funeral of Sue. Sue was a wonderful lady who committed enormous time to Holy Trinity School through her role as the wife of Shayne, former leader of primary, mother and grandmother. An active member of the P and F who was instrumental in the running of the famous "Seafood Nights", which raised much-needed funds for our school at the time. These events also brought our families together and created a spirit at HTS that is still evident today. Sue was also involved in many other charitable organisations. Her presence at our regular school events will be missed.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
As the Principal of our wonderful K-10 Catholic school, I am continually inspired by the vibrant spirit and commitment to our core values that I witness every day across all year levels. Our unique K-10 structure allows for special connections, where our older students model leadership and faith for our younger ones, creating a cohesive and supportive community. This was evident last Thursday as we began a new tradition at HTS - the House Christmas Carol Competition. This was an initiative by our current SRC and led by Mr Baldwin to help my dream of having a singing school come to fruition. It was a fun activity that brought together the whole school for some Christmas cheer!
Other recent events have beautifully highlighted the importance of people coming together to celebrate and give thanks.
These occasions underscore that Holy Trinity is more than just a place of learning—it is a family.
Also at our Thanksgiving Mass, I was reminded of a core principle we strive to instil: the importance of caring for others.
The incredible generosity shown in the mountains of festive food donated to our local St. Vincent de Paul Society is a testament to the selfless spirit of our students, staff, and families. This act of giving is the embodiment of Catholic Social Teaching and a powerful, tangible lesson for our students.
It is through these actions that we fulfill our mission: Together with our families, we are creating students who "have life and have it to the full" and who are deeply committed to ensuring others in our community "have life and have it to the full," too.
We say "farewell" to Father Paul Chandler, Mrs Jacqui Wait, Mr Anthony Gaias, Ms Kat Eshman and Ms Beth Jackson. Thank you for your work at our school and we wish success and happiness in your new adventures.
I wish you and your loved ones a happy, holy, and safe Christmas and New Year! May the peace and joy of the Nativity fill your homes.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for an exciting new chapter in 2026 as we begin Stage 6 at HTS.
School Fees are billed on an annual basis at the commencement of the School Year and our standard payment terms are 10 monthly installments from February to November. Parents are issued an annual Tax Invoice/Statement in Term one with monthly statements issued thereafter.
In 2026 the major excursions will be added to Year 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 accounts so they amount can be paid off over the 10 installments.
Early next year the canteen will be making a move from Spriggy Schools to using Compass Canteen for ordering. We will have a transition period but we recommend that you do not put a large sum of money into your Spriggy Schools account. More information will be shared at the beginning of the new school year.
The last day for lunch orders is Tuesday 16 December. Limited drinks and snacks are available on Wednesday 18 December. Thank you to all our families who support our canteen.
We have updated our musical instruments and have some items that for a small price could go to a new loving home. Items include:
Piano
Drum kit
Please email me if you are interested.
