Hello, I’m Vanessa Colpo, the School Captain for 2026! Prior to this, I was a part of the school SRC, a group that taught me the importance of a great leader. Somebody who listens, advocates and acts. As a student, I often hear the grievances of my peers, though never any practical proposal for change. That is why I desired the position of Captain, to cultivate change and improvement and encourage pride and determination in our school. In the coming year, I’m curious to see how our leadership team works together and develops to elevate our peers and each other. Merry Christmas everyone! I look forward to what the new year has to come.

Hello! My name is Georgia Moore, and I’m excited to begin my role as a Year 12 School Captain next year. This year, I’ve valued supporting peers through encouragement, which taught me that leadership is about teamwork and responsibility. Being part of our school has shaped me into someone who values empathy and collaboration. Looking ahead, I hope to foster inclusivity and motivation, and I encourage everyone to see challenges as opportunities to grow together.

Hello! My name is Tenzin Norzin, and I’m proud to serve as one of your Vice Captains for 2026. Beyond leadership, this term has held several personal achievements that have meant a lot to me. One of the standout moments was participating in game programming at AIE Sydney, where I created my very own video game using Maya and Unreal Engine. It opened my eyes to how much potential you uncover when you’re willing to try something you’ve never done before.

I was also honoured to receive the School Science Award from the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, handed to me by Campbelltown Mayor Darcy Lound. Speaking with the keynote presenter, Emma Rath, a senior postdoctoral bioinformatician, made me realise how far curiosity and hard work can take someone, and it encouraged me to keep pushing myself in the same way.

Although I’ve always been someone who naturally gravitates toward working independently, being part of this leadership team has indefinitely changed how I see teamwork. It’s shown me how powerful teamwork can be, and how much stronger ideas become when different voices contribute. As we move into next year, I’m looking forward to making real, practical improvements that build up our school’s morale and strengthen our sense of school pride. My piece of advice to all students is to carry yourselves with dignity every day, because your actions speak for our school wherever you are.

Hello, my name is Katreeya Nong, I am ecstatic to pursue my role as your school Prefect alongside Antoaneta Stoilova for 2026. Looking back on this year, it has been a highlight to have more public speaking opportunities and I have been filled with pride for our wonderful school.
During my time at school I have learned that teamwork and leadership are a key part of being a senior student. Being a part of the TRED community has shaped me into a passionate person who is inclusive and respectful. I aim to help make our school safe for anyone and everyone. I am looking forward to the Year 12 leaders and SRC creating an environment where any student’s voice is heard. Together as a school we can achieve great things and with lots of opportunities to grow.
