MPPS Student Values Awards ~ Term 4, Week 8

Students who have demonstrated our school values (Respect, Kindness, Gratitude) are selected from each cohort to receive an award certificate and our new Values wristband to wear to school each day. The students receive this award at a cohort assembly that is conducted twice per term.

 

Well done to the children below who recieved our Values award.

 

Prep

Japer ~ This award goes to a wonderful student in Prep B who continues to show Respect, both in and outside of the classroom! Bravo, Jasper! Jasper shows MPPS’s value of Respect through his patience and manners when interacting with others. He always waits his turn to share his amazing ideas and makes sure to say Merci to show his gratitude! Jasper is also a very respectful and active listener. He is always ready to start activities and give it 100% after listening carefully to the instructions given by teachers. Another one of the ways that Jasper shows respect in the classroom, is by always making sure to clean up! He not only tackles his area but also takes the initiative to tidy shared areas of the room and help others with their mess.  Jasper, merci for your wonderful demonstration of Respect in our school community. You should be very proud of yourself and your hard work! 

 

George~ This award goes to a member of Prep B who consistently demonstrates respect in everything he does. Congratulations, George! George always uses his manners when interacting with his teachers and peers. He is thoughtful and polite, remembering to say please and thank you, and he greets others warmly each morning. George understands the importance of being a respectful listener, and he shows this every day during class discussions and our sharing circle. He listens carefully, waits his turn, and responds kindly to others. George is always willing to have a go. He challenges himself, approaches all tasks with a positive attitude, and always tries his very best. He follows instructions promptly and reflects on his behaviour to ensure he is being the best version of himself. We are so proud of your respectful attitude and wonderful example to others.Congratulations, George!

 

Jolie ~ This award goes to a student in Prep B who consistently demonstrates the value of kindness. Well done, Jolie! Jolie uses kind and caring words in all her interactions with others. She thoughtfully looks after her friends and goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels included and valued. Whether she is taking turns, sharing classroom resources, or offering a helping hand, Jolie always shows compassion and thoughtfulness.

She shows kindness not only through her actions with others but also through the small, everyday things she does—like helping classmates when they need support or quietly completing little jobs around the room, such as pushing in chairs or tidying shared spaces.

Jolie, your gentle nature and genuine kindness brighten our classroom each day. Congratulations on this well-deserved award!

 

Fiadh ~ This award goes to a member of Prep A  who consistently demonstrates our school value of gratitude. Fiadh, you are a shining example to your peers in the way you show gratitude every day. Fiadh enters the classroom every day with a beaming smile, happily greeting her teacher and classmates. She has a true joy that is evident in all of her actions. Fiadh thinks carefully about her words and actions and how they impact others, always seeking to make a positive impact and use her best manners. She listens attentively when others are talking, showing true care for her friends. Fiadh understands the importance of showing respect and thankfulness to others. She takes care and pride when looking after our class and school. We are so lucky to have you in Prep A, Fiadh. You make our class a better place every day! Congratulations, Fiadh, you are a true values superstar!

 

 

Year 1/2 

Georgie ~ Georgie embodies kindness in every aspect of school life. She treats others with genuine care, empathy, and understanding, always taking the time to include those around her and make them feel valued. Her strong sense of justice stems from this kindness—Georgie wants everyone to feel respected, supported, and treated fairly. She confidently uses her voice to stand up for others and is quick to offer help whenever she sees a need. Georgie is responsible, thoughtful, and shows wonderful initiative, often stepping in to support her classmates without being asked. Her kindness sets a powerful example for her peers and helps create a warm, inclusive environment for all. Congratulations, Georgie!

 

Charlie ~ Charlie is a respectful and considerate student who consistently shows good manners and genuine thoughtfulness in the classroom. He listens attentively to others and responds with care, kindness, and encouragement. Charlie approaches all learning tasks with a positive attitude and is always willing to collaborate and support his peers. He takes care of his belongings responsibly and demonstrates great respect for our classroom environment.

Throughout the year, Charlie has shown growing leadership skills, confidently stepping up to help others, set a positive example, and contribute to a supportive classroom community. His warm nature, inclusiveness, and wonderful sense of humour make him a valued friend and an excellent role model at Middle Park Primary School. His ability to bring joy and positivity to the classroom will be truly missed. As he prepares to leave MPPS, I know that both his classmates and teachers will miss him greatly. I wish Charlie all the very best for his next learning chapter and am confident he will continue to shine wherever he goes.

 

Corby~  Corby, this award is presented in recognition of your kindness, empathy, and determined positive spirit. Throughout this year, you have shown tremendous growth in this area, working hard to be the best version of yourself. You offer help without being asked, and you include others with your friendly smile and playful sense of humour. Your presence brightens our classroom and makes it a more welcoming place for everyone. Most impressive is your innate sense of justice. Multiple times, you have been spotted in a group where somebody else is being treated unfairly. Every time, you stand up for them and make sure they are given a voice and a chance. Your courage to do what is right, even when it’s not easy, sets a shining example for your peers. Thank you for showing us that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact. We are so proud of you.

 

Isabelle ~ Izzy always shows considerable kindness to all the students at MPPS.

She embodies kindness in her everyday way of life.  Particularly some of the younger students at MPPS.  Thank you Izzy for being part of our community.

 

Yoona ~ Yoona demonstrates gratitude each day in a natural manner. She openly and sincerely acknowledges the support and kindness extended to her, always with a bright and positive demeanour. From appreciating others’ generosity to noticing the smallest acts of kindness, Yoona’s grateful nature is evident in both her words and behaviour. Yoona is a cheery soul who sees the best in the world around her. Yoona’s unwavering gratitude serves as an inspiring example to her classmates, making her a well-deserving recipient of this award.

 

Year 3/4

Chloe ~ Chloe has always been a student who displays our school values, but it is her respect for others that is really standing out. This year, she has consistently shown respect to all MPPS staff and other students, becoming a positive role model within our school community. Equally impressive is the respect Chloe has developed for her own learning. She understands that she’s in charge of her learning journey, and she confidently takes the lead by working more independently and setting her own learning goals. Congratulations, Chloe. You’ve had a fantastic year of school, and you set a very high standard for Respect at MPPS.

 

Patrick ~ Patrick shows kindness every day through the thoughtful choices he makes toward those around him. He is a considerate class member and a loyal friend who understands how to build and maintain positive friendships. Patrick never seeks to be the centre of attention; instead, he joins games and class activities in a way that ensures everyone gets a turn and roles are shared fairly. He is mindful of others and consistently shows genuine care for their feelings. Patrick’s big smile brings warmth and positivity to every space he enters. Congratulations, Patrick, on consistently choosing kindness as it makes a huge difference to everyone’s day!

 

Estelle ~ Estelle is a wonderful example of our MPPS school value of gratitude. Estelle comes to school each day with a positive attitude. She’s not worrying about what others may have or what she thinks she might deserve. Instead, she notices and appreciates the good things in her life. This thoughtful outlook shows in the way Estelle conducts herself around others, always with calm thoughtfulness and appreciation, helping to create a positive atmosphere in our classroom. Estelle’s gratitude might be quiet, but it’s very meaningful, reminding everyone to think and value the things they have.Congratulations, Estelle, on showing such a fantastic example of gratitude for us all!

 

Year 5/6

 

Claire ~It gives me so much pleasure to acknowledge your application to detail and commitment to learning. Your focus and discipline to new tasks is met with a patient maturity that is to be admired and will most certainly hold you in great stead for the future. You are self motivated and extremely creative in your approach to all activities, even providing your own resources at times to ensure you meet the standard you set for yourself. You  demonstrate your appreciation for the wonderful opportunities school offers with kindness, helpfulness and a simple thank-you. I appreciate your grateful disposition and how you endeavour to make the most of every opportunity that arises.

 

Cressy ~ Cressy displays all of our school values each day. She always shows her respect for her teachers and classmates by giving everything a go and striving to do her very best. Cressy displays kindness towards her classmates and teachers through her care and consideration for others. She is always willing to work with others, share with others and take care of others. Cressy particularly shows us the importance of gratitude at school. She shows her appreciation for the wonderful opportunities to learn and to build great relationships with others by acknowledging these opportunities by simply saying ‘thank you’ and displaying her positive attitude towards all aspects of school life.Thank you Cressy for being such a wonderful member of our MPPS community!! You are a super star!

 

Tom ~ Tom’s respect shown towards staff and students has been noticed by many people throughout the year. It was especially noted how he showed respect in supporting new friendships among his peers at the beginning of the year. Thanks for always being a respectful member of our school Tom, keep up the great work!

 

Tiger ~ Tiger’s natural kind nature has really shone through this year. From always greeting members of the school community, to showing kindness to all of his peers (especially the younger students who he may not know very well), your kindness is noticed by many. We are very proud to watch you continually grow and further spread your kindness Tiger! 

 

Lia ~ This award goes to a student who consistently embodies kindness, respect and gratitude. She always tries her hardest, shows impeccable manners and treats both teachers and classmates with warmth and fairness. Lia demonstrates respect in both her words and actions - listening carefully, appreciating others’ efforts and valuing every learning opportunity. She avoids drama, approaches challenges with maturity, and shows care for others, always doing the right thing simply because it’s who she is. Softly spoken, responsible and endlessly polite, she sets a wonderful example for her peers each day. Her thoughtful nature and unwavering respect for others make her a truly deserving recipient of this award.

 

Olivia ~ Olivia is always showing her gratitude towards the ES team with her very kind words and expressing her appreciation everyday. Your lovely manners and gratitude is always noticed Liv, and we are enjoying watching you spread them to others as your friendships within the school community continue to grow!

 

Stella ~  Stella consistently displays RESPECT towards all the office staff, teachers and her peers.  Whenever she visits the office, she will greet us with genuine friendliness, a bright smile and impeccable manners. Her positive attitude is always on display. Stella is an exceptionally thoughtful student, and a real delight to have in our school.  She is a great example of our MPPS Value of Respect. Great job Stella!
