Faith, Justice and Formation

SOL Service Statistics 2025

We know that our charism calls us to walk with and for the other. It starts with small actions and then habits are formed to do good – to serve the other, giving of our time and our hearts – and before we know it, we can change lives and help create a better world for all.

Congratulations to all students from Years 5 to 10 who gave their all to Shining Our Light (SOL) Service this year. And well done to the students of Year 11 for their fulfilment of Social Justice Service.

All acknowledgements of completed service will appear in Reports this semester for Years 5 to 10, and next year for Year 11.

Some students submitted service that was incorrect or out of their stage and thus did not complete the program. Unsigned service cannot be counted. We urge people to ensure they pay attention to SOL Service documentation moving forward. An email regarding 2026 SOL Service will be sent to all parents and students soon. Below are some statistics related to SOL Service 2025.

Each year goes from strength to strength. We look forward to seeing all the amazing service our young men offer into the future. Service for next year can start now. A sheet for recording this service (as we do not have diaries yet) is available on all cohort CANVAS pages – print out and use. Stamps and signatures are required. Parent signatures are not accepted for service with an organisation, including volunteering at a local club and within a parish. Everybody also needs to do at least two different things.

Thank you and God bless you all.
