Sub School Updates

Welcome to Term 4, Week 8
Reports Being reviewed this week. Please inform your SSL if you need support with reports.
Things you can start completing for transition Week:
Update Student ProfilesDuring your CTM's and after your SSG's, discuss with your team members the information in the Profiles and what needs to be added/removed.
Visual Folders Please begin to re-organise the small visuals and large visuals in your folders. These stay in the class. Ensure you have at least 6 of each visual and are in alphabetical order.
Confidentiality: Please remain vigilant regarding student privacy. Avoid discussing incidents, behaviours, or sensitive information in areas where students may overhear. Conversations about students should occur privately, respecting confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
Starting these processes early can help you focus on getting to know the new students when class lists are distributed
Decluttering start decluttering your cupboards and organise your resources.
By Monday Week 10, please ensure you have:
- taken resources you will not be using home or returned
- disposed of unwanted material
- cleared all wall space
- cleaned room ie leave a room in the state you want to inherit it
- cleaned & wiped inside cupbaords
PBS Tickets Reminder to continue to use PBS tickets as positive reinforcement to encourage students following the expected behaviours Matrixes
Bus Bay Restraint Please ensure students transition independently to & from buses. Please do not hold a student's bag or lead them.
Red Bins The red bins next to the photocopiers are for confidential waste. Please put documents with student/staff names, details, work programs, IEP goals, reports etc in these bins. There are also two more confidential waste bins next to Frances and Denise's office.
Classroom Checklists Please ensure that all classroom teams follow our new plan to complete your classroom checklists each day. This is important for teams to do so to support a safe learning environment for all JSA students. SSLs will be checking in to monitor progress and provide support where necessary.

Hi there Primaries!
I hope that you all had a lovely Term 3 break. It's great to be back and seeing you all set up in your classrooms. I look forward to supporting you all whilst we aim to appoint a new leader for you all very soon.
Thank you for your ongoing support and leadership of all primary students in our care. It makes all the difference. :)

Yard duty roster (dated 6/10)
No yard duty all day for wet/hot day timetable. If wet/hot day is called in the morning for recess, there is no duty roster for the day. Weather permitting, you can take your students outside.
