All who visited the oval would have smiled as the colourful and energetic bodies threw chickens, sprinted on running tracks and leapt, landing in the long jump pit. It was the first time we have held a sports carnival for students in the junior end of the school and from all reports, it will become a significant event in the years to come.

Thanks to those who watched and encouraged from the sidelines, those that helped shuffle groups through diverse activities and especially those teachers and education support staff who drew together the day and ensured all contributions were celebrated. It was a great chance to remind ourselves the importance of staying healthy through collaborative and competitive sport!

Volunteer Morning Tea

11:00am on Wednesday 3 December

The teachers are rolling up their sleeves and catering to express their gratitude to all who have shared their time and energy with the school. All who have volunteered this year, whether as a reader in the corridor, mower of the lawns or cake decorator at the Fair, are most welcome to join us. Don’t wait for an invitation … just come. Grab those diaries and reserve the date – all are welcome. A special incentive is for you to hear of the teachers that will be connected to classes in 2026.

Celebrating ICAS Achievement

Friday 28 November

We missed acknowledging our English and Writing ICAS last week, but we're looking forward to celebrating these remarkable student efforts this coming Friday. We are particularly thrilled to be presenting two of our students with distinctions.

Pizza Picnic On The Oval

Friday 5 December

As we enter the frenetic season of holidays and celebrations towards the end of the year, FORPS have invited our whole community to stretch a rug out on the oval and celebrate the end of year. You can bring your own picnic or take advantage of the subsidised pizza offer that is detailed in the newsletter. Always a highlight, the evening is a chance to reflect on the remarkable achievements of 2025 and consider what the world will look like in 2026! We look forward to welcoming our new 2026 Prep Parents who can join us.
