Author Solli Raphael

Meeting Solli Raphael was a truly amazing experience as he taught us a variety of skills for writing poems. He performed two slam poems which captivated us from the very start, and he shared with us his childhood ambitions and how he got to where he is now. He inspired us to follow our dreams and turn them into reality. Solli Raphael is truly an inspiration to kids around the world.

Solli Raphael's visit was admirable. I learnt tips that will help me a lot with my poetry later on. He taught us how to think of ideas when you're writing and how to express them in interesting ways. It was inspirational for me and I'm sure it was for everyone else too. Overall, I had a fantastic time and was pleased.

On the 15th of August, 2024, the beloved and famous author Solli Raphael visited our school. Year 5 students, including 4/5V, and teachers felt honoured by the visit. We learnt a lot of new facts and steps for writing a poem, and we even wrote one ourselves! This experience was unforgettable and a memorable day we'll always remember. We are looking forward to more awesome visits in the future.
