Book Week
Last week we celebrated Book Week. It was wonderful to see so many students dressed as well-known book characters. We really appreciate the efforts that families make in supporting these events and for attending.
Mr Luxa and Miss Le did a fantastic job in organising the parade, the scripts and playlists of music chosen by the classes. It made for a memorable day.
In Week 7, there will be a Book Fair in the Library. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair during their usual lessons and purchase books as well as other items. Parents may also visit the Book Fair before and after school. The school benefits from sales as the more books sold, the school is able to choose books and resources for the Library.
P&C Father's Day Stall
The P&C will be having a Father's Day Stall on Wednesday, 28th August. Classes will have time to come to the hall where students can purchase a gift for their Dad or other significant person in their life. Any extra gifts will be available for sale under the COLA on Thursday, 29 August from 3.10pm.
Thank you to our P&C for the time and effort made to ensure students have the opportunity to buy gifts for this day.
School Support Recognition Week
This week is School Support Recognition Week. This is an opportunity to express our appreciation for their outstanding professionalism and celebrate the essential role school administrative and support staff play in public education. The theme this year is 'We Just Do It'. Their roles are varied but all important in helping our whole school community. We appreciate their unwavering determination, commitment and support to our students and the school.
On behalf of the school I would like to thank:
Mrs Daniels, Miss Ingold, Mrs Gallo, Mrs Khuu, Ms Doan, Mrs Delandro, Ms Polliket, Mrs Stephenson, Mrs Romeo, Ms Williams, Mrs Ung, Mrs Micelli, Mrs Nagtsuka, Mrs Mashko and Mr Jim.
