Book Week

What an eventful week we had at DPS celebrating Book Week!

Well done to everyone who participated in our book week activities. From the cake decorating competition, colouring competition, book fair and dress-up parade there were many fun activities for students to take part in. This year's theme was 'Reading is Magic' and many magical costumes were worn at the Book Week Dress Up parade.

Here is a recap of the highlights of our Book Week-

Book Fair

We had many visitors browsing and borrowing at our book fair in the Junior School building. Thank you to all of the teachers for setting up and volunterring time at the book fair!

Cake Decorating Competition

There were many amazing cakes on display at our cake decorating competition. There were so many different designs including Harry Potter, Lego, Frozen, The Rainbow Fish and the list goes on! Well done to our winners who were chosen by the DPS students.

Thank you Mrs Quinonero for organising and setting up the cake decorating competition!

Book Week Dress-Up Parade

We were thrilled to see so many amazing costumes worn by students and teachers at our dress-up parade! Students dressed up as their favourite characters and our school captains chose a best dressed from each class. These deserving winners all won a new book as their prize.

Library Display

A beautiful display in the library was observed by all of the DPS students. The display highlighted the theme of 'Reading is Magic'. Thank you Wendy M for setting up the display!
