TLI Update End of Term Three 2024
The Grade Ones have shown tremendous improvement in their Reading Skills with some students now at the top of their class! They have been lucky enough to participate in some Sounds-Write Linguistic Phonics lessons with Mrs Hill who recently completed her Practitioner training. Their confidence and ability to blend, segment and manipulate sounds continues to improve. They particularly enjoy playing the Sounds-Swap Game and writing Dictation using the words they have been learning.
The Grade Twos and Fours continue to develop their Place Value knowledge as well as working on other areas such as reading the time on an analogue clock. They enjoy using hands on materials such as Pop-it boards and MAB blocks. Next term we look forward to offering Extension groups to cater for all students.
