VISUAL ART

The students have been working hard to complete all their artwork for the DPS Art exhibition on Thursday 17th October 2024.

Prep - The Prep students have been learning about texture and bioluminescence while creating their starfish for the Glow gallery. They have also been practising their printing techniques while making their bottlebrush flowers.

Level 1- Students have been learning about clay joining techniques while creating their bioluminescent turtles made of clay. These will feature in the Glow gallery.

Level 2- Students have been using their imaginations to create a sea creature for the Glow gallery.

Level 3 - Students have been very persistent while creating the layers for their paper mache bioluminescent coral for the Glow gallery. Their designs are very unique.

Level 4 - Students have been finishing off their library bags for the Wearable art exhibit. They have also been sharing their knowledge to create a collaborate sculpture for the Glow gallery.

Level 5 - Students have been working on bringing their cap designs to life for the Wearable art exhibit.

Level 6- Students began their project by creating a Powerpoint presentation about their favourite artist. Then they created an artwork inspired by one of the artist's works. When the artwork is displayed in the Art exhibition, a QR code will be attached to the artwork so that the presentation can also be viewed by the audience.
