Black Range Athletics

 Thursday 2nd of May Horsham College had 52 students travel to Stawell to compete in the Black Range Athletics Carnival.

Congratulations to all students who participated, it was very pleasing to see so many Horsham College students enjoying the day with some amazing results including four students breaking five Black Range records:

• Kynan S –  Triple Jump
• Gretel B - 800m
• Aiden R -  200m & 1500m
• Phoebe D - 1500m

 The school achieved: 

• 33 - 1st placings.
• 22 - 2nd placings
• 19 - 3rd placings

19 students placed 1st in their events and they all will now compete at the Greater Western Region Titles in Ballarat on October 10th during term 3.

Relay results have not been sent out to schools and once they are we will let you know these results.

A big thanks to Mr Petering, Kara, Brooklyn, and Jason for organising the day to ensure our students had a great day.
