Springvale Rise Primary School Community Hub

Welcome back to Term 2 everyone, we hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and are ready for another exciting term! We have quite a few exciting things planned for Hub so please stay tuned! The first special event is our Eid Celebration in Community Hub on Springvale Campus next Wednesday on the 24th of April from 10am-12pm. All are welcome. Please bring a dish (preferably halal or vegetarian) to share!

We continue to offer English classes three times a week, with an excursion being planned to tour the Springvale Library. Playgroup on both campuses continue to run with a special Mother’s Day activity planned on Springvale Campus for May 8th with a visit from the City of Greater Dandenong Kindergarten Officer to assist in 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten enrolments. The Heights Campus Mother’s Day session will be on Thursday May 9th. There will be special activities to do with your child and a little gift for you to take home too. An experience you will remember forever!

Our Women’s Wellbeing Group continues to grow with many women joining our sessions to connect with one another and practise simple self-care activities such as drawing, yoga and even cooking. Please see below for our new program times for this term. Lastly, we are also providing Food Relief sessions on both campuses (Springvale Campus Tuesday 2.30pm-3.30pm and Heights Campus Wednesday 9am-9.30am). If you are needing assistance with everyday pantry items such as cereal, milk and bread please come and collect at that time at no cost (FREE).

English Classes – Springvale Campus

Learn English by speaking, listening, and even having some fun playing games with each other!

We now offer classes on :

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning

9.30am - 11.30am. Free childminding is available too.

We are also excited to present our new Tuesday English class teacher Miss Tamara, who will be incorporating Digital Technology into the lessons. Miss Tamara will be focusing on how we can use this technology in our daily life.
