Curriculum Programs 

Xin chào! Welcome back to Term 2! 

I hope you have all had a restful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning. This term, we have a variety of engaging activities planned for the students at Springvale Rise Primary School. 

First off, the FLC students will be engaging in a variety of songs and activities to learn how to say and write numbers to ten (10) and beyond in Vietnamese. 

Next, the JLC students will be focusing on sharing information about themselves. They will learn the vocabulary to describe their facial features and share their likes and dislikes in Vietnamese. 

In the MLC, students will be learning skills to share information about their family members. They will practise sharing information about themselves such as their name, likes and dislikes through conversations with peers. 

The SLC students will be developing their conversational skills to ask and answer questions about themselves and others. They will also be engaging in conversations about their daily life, school, friends and hobbies.  

And that’s not all! All students will be participating in a cultural cooking lesson. This allows students to experience and taste the flavours of Vietnam with dishes like Che Thai, Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli, Mango Sago and Pandan Sticky Rice!
