VOCABULARY

Narrative: a spoken or written account of connected events.

 

Setting: The setting of a story is defined as the time, duration, and place an author chooses to write about.

 

Character: a character is a person or other being in a narrative.

 

Conflict: Conflict is the struggle that the main character goes through in a story.

 

Resolution: The resolution of a story is the conclusion of a story's plot.
