ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day is a significant national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, commemorating the service and sacrifice of those who served in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during wartime.  Through our studies of ANZAC Day, our students learned about the importance of honoring and remembering the sacrifices made by past generations, fostering a sense of national pride and gratitude.

Last Thursday, as we remembered, five of our Grade 6 students had the honour of representing St Laurence O'Toole Primary School at both the dawn service and the 11 am service, each laying a wreath on our behalf.

Thank you Caitlyn, Steph, Archer, Gerg and Henry.
