Success

Success

Over the next 3 weeks during their Social Emotional Learning Sessions the children from Foundation to Grade 4 are looking at the concept of success.

Resources are used from our Bounce Back Program are used for this.

Concepts such as personal strengths, growth mindset, grit and perserverence are explored during these weeks. Success can be achieved with a growth mindset which means engaging in helpful thinking for example 'I can't do it yet'  rather than 'I can't do it'.  This is a wonderful phrase to use with your child.  Life is about having to practice skills and work hard to achieve success and across these 3 weeks our students will be taught explicit skills to be able to do so.

The acronyms STAR is used with Foundation - Grade 2 students and CHAMP is used for our Grade 3 and 4 students. Below is a break down of what these acronyms represent.
