Principal's Message
Dear parents, students and families,
We welcomed the Easter season in such a beautiful way on Monday. The community gathered for a Liturgy and then the Easter Bonnet Parade. Thank you the parents who stayed to celebrate the Easter Bonnet Parade with all the children. Thank you Mrs Winduss for such a faith filled 'Alleluia' Day.
Jesus,
Raise me up! Renew my life! Father of life, I see the light again!
I was in darkness and had lost hope but Jesus Christ, your son,
has won out over death - for me.
I celebrate today, your love, the life you give me. I feel your presence as you breathe on my mind and open my heart.
Thank you for this morning of hope, thank you for such incredible love.
Amen
School photo day ran very smoothly. Thank you to families who prepared their children so beautifully for the photos.
Our whole school photo will be taken on Wednesday 1 May.
Please make sure the children are wearing their SUMMER UNIFORM and bring their jumper/bomber jacket to school.
Mrs Winduss and Mrs Canavan continue to work with the 3/4 girls to talk about strategies to support each other and to learn to navigate relationships with others as they move into their teen years. Peaceful Kids program will also run this term in 5/6. Thanks to Mrs Winduss for filling this need within our community and for allowing the space for these children to grow.
Tomorrow we send a number of children from Grades 4-6 to District Track events. We wish them well and encourage them to be the best they can be. Thank you to Mrs Ary and the staff who will be supporting these children tomorrow.
Next Week
The School Leaders will attend the Seaford RSL Schools ANZAC Day Ceremony on Tuesday.
The Fire carriers have their Commissioning Ceremony at John Paul College on Wednesday morning.
The school is closed for ANZAC Day on the 25th April and for a school closure day on the 26th April.
Please keep Rod in your prayers as he recovers from surgery.
God Bless
