Student Achievements

Recently Netball Tasmania held their annual awards dinner where Year 8 student Ruby Duggan was awarded the Tasmanian Under 15 team’s most valuable player for the 2024 School Sport National Championships. Already a fantastic achievement for Ruby, but what makes it even more impressive is that Ruby is a bottom age athlete in this age group, competing with players up to a year old than her. Congratulations Ruby!

During the school holidays, Year 10 student Lucy Allen competed in the Tasmanian Evatt Competition. Together with her partner, they achieved an amazing result, finishing in the top two teams in Tasmania.  

As a result of their hard work and impressive performance, they have been selected to represent Tasmania at the Evatt National Finals. 

We are proud of Lucy’s achievement and wish her the best of luck as she prepares to take on the national stage in Melbourne later this year!
