Senior Hooptime Regional Competition

Senior Hooptime Highlights: Boys Team Heads to State!

The Senior Hooptime Competition saw thrilling action and unforgettable moments as our school's boys' and girls' teams took to the court for an exciting day of basketball.

Both teams brought their energy and passion for the game, making their school proud with their efforts, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Our girls' team fought hard in each match, showcasing impressive skills and determination. Despite a tough lineup of opponents, they played with great spirit, learning valuable lessons from each game. The girls encouraged each other through every challenge and displayed true team spirit, making every supporter proud. Their journey might not have led to victory, but their commitment and resilience set a great example for all young athletes.

The boys' team, however, had a different story to tell.

After a day of nail-biting matches, they made it to the Grand Final, where they put on a spectacular performance. With precision, teamwork, and relentless effort, they emerged victorious and secured a place in the State competition! It was an incredible achievement that came from months of practice and dedication.

Thanks to Mrs T and the parents who drove us and supported us during the day.

Congratulations to both teams for their hard work, passion, and commitment. We’re immensely proud of our players and can’t wait to support our boys' team as they prepare for the State-level games.

Let’s cheer them on!

Division Softball

A few of the Level 6 students went down to Jells Park to play softball on Monday.

We had to play pool matches that were back-to-back so we were very busy trying to make our school proud. After a draw and a win we moved through to the next stage!

Our team, feeling happy that we made it through, started to eat our snack.

After a quick bite to eat, the team we drew against asked us if we wanted to play a scratch game (which is just another game but we don't count the scores).

Following the scratch match, we had a break playing one touch with the soccer ball and some practice throwing and batting.

A while afterwards, the team got called up to our semi-final match, unfortunately losing the match and not moving through to the final.

All in all, the team did an awesome job making it to the semi finals and having a great time.
