Ensemble Updates

Concert Band: Concert Band will rehearse on Tuesday mornings for this term. (No Monday rehearsals at this time.)
Guitar Ensemble: Monday 11 November, in our new space on Main Campus: in the B Block Art Room.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the music program.

We extend our appreciation to Orchestra and our director, Mr Kim, for holding an open rehearsal this past week and welcoming the families attending Kindergarten Orientation. The incoming Kindy students and their carers were delighted to hear and see a music ensemble in action.

External Music Learning Opportunities

The Arts Unit Combined Schools Musical

The Department of Education Arts Unit is excited to launch a new program in 2025 called the Combined Schools Musical. This initiative is an amazing opportunity for public school students across New South Wales to experience the magic of music theatre. Students can apply individually to be a part of the Lead Cast, with their family's support.

Sydney North Public Schools Band Program

Applications for the 2025 Sydney North Public Schools Band Program are now open.

The Sydney North Public Schools Band Program is run through the Department of Education - The Arts Unit, and provides extension opportunities for talented musicians from public schools in Year 4 to Year 12. Membership is considered an addition to a student's participation in their school band program. It is an expectation that all students who are part of the Sydney North Public Schools Band Program remain a committed member of any music ensemble programs currently operating at their school.
