Spotlight on Learning

This term, our enthusiastic Stage 1 students have been diving into the fascinating world of perspective and argument in English. Our amazing Lizard pod has been buzzing with creativity as they craft persuasive writing pieces that are sure to impress!

To kick off our writing journey, we explored the thought-provoking text, "Hey Little Ant." This engaging story inspired our budding authors to think critically about the impact of their words. The Lizard students took on the challenge of writing their own persuasive texts, advocating for an important cause: to not step on the ants! 

Throughout this process, students learned about various persuasive techniques and how to use them effectively. With the help of constructive feedback from peers and teachers, they polished their writing and published some truly impressive pieces!
