Hoop Time Finals

On Thursday, the 17th of October, students from EPS traveled to Diamond Valley Basketball Stadium to compete in the Hoop Time Future Stars Division Finals. The team played exceptionally well, demonstrating great skill and teamwork throughout the competition. Their efforts paid off as they finished 2nd overall, earning them a spot in the state finals in December. Congratulations to all the players for their fantastic performance!

5/6 Hockey Unit

The Grade 5/6 students have been learning the skills of hockey in their Physical Education classes. They have been focusing on fundamental techniques like dribbling, passing, and shooting, while also learning about teamwork and game strategies. It's been great to see their enthusiasm and improvement as they develop their skills and understanding of this fast-paced sport!

Grade 1/2s Catching

The Grade 1/2 students have been working on developing their catching skills in Physical Education. They've been practicing using soft hands and keeping their eyes on the ball, and then applying these skills in fun, new games. It's been exciting to see their confidence grow as they learn and play together!

Interschool Volleyball

Students from EPS traveled to Keilor Heights Primary School to compete in the Moonee Ponds Division Volleyball Finals. After months of preparation and training, our team was ready to give their best performance. They played with great determination and skill, winning the match in straight sets. With this impressive victory, they will now advance to the Western Metropolitan Region Finals on Thursday, the 31st of October. Congratulations to all the players for their hard work and dedication!

Regional Athletics Finals

On Tuesday the 22nd, two Essendon Primary students represented the school at the Western Metropolitan Regional Athletics finals. Raphael L (triple jump) and Lachlan W (long jump) travelled to Keilor Athletics Track where they competed against students from across the inner west of Melbourne. Well done to both boys, we are very proud.
