Principal's Report
Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to take a moment to express my sincere thanks to the Year 2 staff – Mrs. Latto, Mr. Leach, Mrs. Mackay, and Miss Harris – for their exceptional work in preparing our students for the upcoming Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday, 29th October. Their dedication, care, and spiritual guidance have provided a wonderful foundation for the children as they take this important step in their faith journey.
We are also grateful for the prayerful and faith-filled family session held on Tuesday, 22nd October. It was a special time for families to come together in faith, and it served as a meaningful opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of Reconciliation with the support of their loved ones.
A special thank you as well to Fr. Justin Ford for taking the time to speak with the children this week. Your words have truly helped them understand the significance of this sacrament and have inspired them to approach it with open hearts and minds.
Finally, a heartfelt thanks to Miss Mitchell-Fletcher for coordinating this event so beautifully as our Religious Education Leader. Your leadership and thoughtful planning have been key in ensuring everything runs smoothly and that the students feel supported and prepared.
We are blessed to have such a dedicated and faith-filled team leading our children during this special time.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be on Tuesday 29th October at 4:30pm in St. Patrick's Church.
Year 6 2025 Jumpers
Recently the current Year 5 students have completed surveys on the type of jumper they would like to have next year, and also the design on the back. I am please to announce that they have selected a blue hoodie style jumper (no zip on the front). They have also selected the design for the back of the jumper as well. Ordering information and instructions will be sent to current year 5 families in the next week or so. We have a selection of sizes in the office for students to try on for sizing purposes.
Above is the winning design colour and style. Please note that the winning style has no front zip.
Kilbreda School Co-Captain for 2025
Congratulations to our past student Amelia Presnell who has been appointed as the new 2025 Co-Captain of Kilbreda College. Our congratulations to the Presnell family!
P & F Colour Run

The colour run will now be held on the school grounds due to logistics on the day.
The fundraising for this event will go directly to our P & F project of replacing the senior students adventure playground. We have selected our playground company and the design, and are in the process of finalising the colour scheme.
