EDSC Reading Challenge Pizza Party Update

Congratulations to more than 150 EDSC students who will enjoy pizza for lunch next Tuesday 22 October at our annual EDSC Reading Challenge Pizza Party.

 

The party will take place at lunchtime in the middle courtyard for all students who read and verified 15 books in the Reading Challenge this year. All invited students will have an event for the party in their Compass schedule.

 

Well done to the following prize winners who demonstrated excellent reading throughout the year. Please come to the library soon to collect your prizes!

Manga Master Award for reading the most Manga books – Eason 7C

Fact Finder Award for reading the most non-fiction books – Rhylan 9I

Poetry Pro Award for reading the most poetry books – Haim 12H

First Nations Reader Award for reading the most books by or about First Nations Australians – Azrin 7D

Top EAL Reader Middle School –  Shayan 8B

Commended EAL Reader Middle School – Lea 7B

Top EAL Reader Senior School – Eliya 12J

Most Well-Read Staff Member – Jesi Amirah

 

EDSC library staff offer a special congratulations to all senior school students who completed the Reading Challenge while navigating their busy studies, as well as everyone who took part in the Reading Challenge for the first time. We have an exceptional reading community at EDSC!

 

The Librarian's Choice Award prize winners, as well as the final number of books read at EDSC in 2024, will be revealed at the party next Tuesday.
