Good afternoon, Parents/Carers,
Welcome back to Term 3. I trust everyone had an enjoyable and restful term break. We look forward to a busy and productive Term 3.
Fitness-a-thon
It was great to see so many parents/carers to cheer on our students as they participated in the Fitness-a-thon on the last day of Term 2. All students had a fantastic time all while keeping fit and raising funds for our school to go towards the major excursion. Our highest fundraisers for each class were:

Currabubula Art Show
Congratulations to Ethan, Hailie, Hope, Jackson, Joe, Luke, Raegan, Theodore & Thomas who were awarded prizes at the Currabubula Art Show held in Term 2. Thank you to Currabubula Public School for holding a fantastic event and your kind donation to our school.
Turn Up Awards
We finished off last Term with all students who were at 90% and above attendance in the draw to win a prize of sporting equipment. Our winner was Marcos. Congratulations Marcos. We also, drew the winners of our Turn Up Award for Week 10. Our winners were:
K/1B - Mathilda
2/3O - Maddison
4/5/6W - Ashton
We will continue with the Turn Up Award program this term.
Quirindi High School Taster Day
Quirindi High School have invited our Yr 5 and Yr 6 students to participate in a Taster Day at Quirindi High School next Monday, 28th July 2025. Students will be transported from school via bus. Notes for this event will be sent home today, and we ask that you return your permission note to the office by this Friday, 25th July.
4/5/6W Peter/Wendy Excursion -
Quirindi Royal Theatre
Quirindi High School have invited our 4/5/6W class to watch their matinee production of Peter/Wendy at the Quirindi Royal Theatre on Wednesday, 30th July. Permission notes will be sent home today and we ask that you return permission notes to the office by Friday, 25th July.
Education Week
From Monday, 4th to Friday 8th August (Week 3) we will be celebrating all things Public Education in Education Week. This year's theme is "Ignite Your Potential". Our school will be involved in many activities throughout the week such as the Small Schools Spelling Bee at Blackville, Small Schools Soccer Knockout at Barraba and a Chess Competition at Gunnedah.
