2026 Year 6 Senior Polo - Design Competition & Pre-Order

Dear Year 5 Students and Parents/Guardians,

Next year, our current Year 5 students will step into their final year at Ironside State School. To help make this milestone year extra special, the Uniform Shop is excited to offer the 2026 Year 6 Senior Polo Shirt. This unique shirt will be available by pre-order only, and its design will be selected through a student design competition.

Senior Polo Design Competition

We invite all current Year 5 students to take part in designing the 2026 Senior Polo!

- Submission Deadline: Thursday, 28 August

- Submission Method: Please return the completed template to the office or the uniform shop, or email PDF (with your name and class) to pandcuniformshop@eq.edu.au

- Design Requirements: Please check the competition letter that was distributed.

After the submission period closes, the School Admin team will select three finalist designs, which will then be voted on by Year 5 students. The winning design will be used for the 2026 Senior Polo.

Senior Polo Pre-Orders

Please note that the Senior Polo will be available by pre-order only, and the Uniform Shop will not keep any stock. Orders, size changes, or late requests cannot be accepted outside the designated ordering periods.

Also note: Senior Polos are sized differently from regular school polos. We strongly encourage all students to try on a sample shirt at the Uniform Shop to confirm their size.

To assist with sizing, the Uniform Shop will be open extra during Wednesday second breaks throughout the pre-order periods, so students can come and try on sample shirts.

There will be two opportunities to place a pre-order.

1st Pre-Order

- Order Period: Term 3 Week 9 - Term 4 Week 2, 2025

- Order Deadline: Friday, 17 October, 2025

- Delivery to Students: Last week of Term 4, 2025

2nd (Final) Pre-Order

- Order Period: Term 1 Week 3 - Week 5, 2026

- Order Deadline: Friday, 27 February, 2026

- Delivery to Students: First week of Term 2, 2026

Volunteers Wanted! - Tuckshop & Uniform Shop

Dear School Community,

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out in our Tuckshop and Uniform Shop. These essential services rely on the generous support of our school families. Whether you can spare a regular time slot or help occasionally, any time you can offer is greatly appreciated. You’ll get a chance to see your child in the school environment. You can find quality second-hand uniforms early. No special skills or experience are needed.
