Upcoming Events

Book Week: Read With Me

Families are invited to a special 'Read with Me' event on Monday 1 September in the Library on South Campus from 5:30 PM to 7:15 PM. Students can wear comfy clothes or pyjamas. Bring along a travel cup with lid and receive an extra marshmallow in your hot chocolate!

Gold coin entry at door will be donated to the Fiji Book Drive. Please note all children must be in the care and direct supervision of their parent or carer at all times.

ELC Father's Day Stall

The Early Learning Centre will also be holding its very first fundraising event next week on Tuesday 2 September from 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM

and Wednesday 3 September from 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM just outside the ELC building.

There will be lovely gift packs available for purchase at only $5 each. This is a wonderful opportunity to pick out a special gift for Dad or a special father figure in your lives.

All funds raised will go directly towards purchasing new equipment and resources to enhance the learning and play experiences for our children. Come and show us your support – we look forward to seeing you at the stall!

Primary Father's Day Stall

Primary students will be visiting the Father’s Day Stall on Wednesday 3 September. Please send $5.00 in an envelope with your child's name and class on the front to give to their teacher for safe-keeping. The correct money in each envelope is greatly appreciated as change is limited.

Book Week: Character Parade

The most highly anticipated event of the year where all students dress up as their favourite book character will be held on Thursday 4 September from 9:00 AM in G-Block. Certificates awarded for the most creative costumes! Bring the book along as part of your costume. Parents and carers welcome to attend!

Whole School Worship Assembly

Members of the College community are warmly invited to the next Whole School Worship Service and Assembly on Tuesday 9 September from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in K-Block on South Campus.

Pantry Plus Food Drive

Bayside Christian College Year 12 VCE Vocational Major students will again be participating in Pantry Plus's Annual Food Drive. Pantry Plus is a non-profit community outreach program through Peninsula City Church oriented on helping get food to those in need living on the Mornington Peninsula.

Students will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to this wonderful cause and ask for each student to bring in a specific donation. All donations can be dropped off in each classroom or at reception on both campuses. Every contribution, big or small, will help make a real difference for families in need. Let's come together as a community to give back to our community!

If you know of any family, friends, neighbours who are interested in visiting Bayside Christian College, encourage them to book a tour. Spaces are limited and fill fast so bookings are essential.

R U OK? Wear Yellow Day

On Thursday 11 September, students and staff across the College will be participating in a special event to shine a light on Mental Health and the importance of looking out for each other. As part of this, we'll be supporting the R U OK? charity, which encourages people to make meaningful connections to help prevent suicide.

To join in, we're asking students to take part in our 'Wear Yellow Day' by wearing yellow clothes or accessories (as long as it fits within College uniform guidelines) and bringing a gold coin donation. Gold coin donations are to be given to the classroom/homeroom teacher in the morning for collection.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr Samuel Green via email: samuel.green@baysidecc.vic.edu.au

Finals Fever Community Market

Join us for the Finals Fever Community Market on Thursday 11 September after school from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM in the Primary G-Block Gymnasium. VCE VM students will donate all net profits, along with stall fees to charity partner Compassion Australia
