Friday Lunchtime STEM Club

A huge thank you to Oscar, Alex, and Hamish (Year 6 students) for leading last week's STEM Club session! Their Blooket competition with the junior students was a fantastic success. The STEM room will be open every Friday during 2nd break throughout Term 3.

Year 5s and 6s Take Flight with Aviation Project

 This term, our Year 5 and 6 students have been immersed in the STEM Aviation Project, where they design and build model aeroplanes equipped with electric motors. Over the past two weeks, they successfully conducted test flights, showcasing their engineering skills and teamwork!            (Francesca S - 5M)


Years 3 and 4 Dive into Programming with Scratch

Last week, our Year 3 and 4 students began their coding journey using Scratch, a fun and interactive programming tool. They created their first interactive programs, learning the basics of coding logic and creativity.

Foundation to Year 2: Algorithms and Robot Design

Our youngest STEM enthusiasts explored the concept of algorithms by creating step-by-step instructions on how to draw robots. The Foundation students crafted simple algorithms, while Years 1 and 2 added complexity with branching (choices) and loops (repetition), demonstrating their growing problem-solving skills.
