- What is fair play?
- Ways to be gender fair.
“The RRRR resource provides an age-appropriate and research-informed approach to teaching about the ways gender norms can lead to harmful or limiting outcomes. It includes activities which focus on understanding every person’s rights to respect, to bodily autonomy and to protection from violence within their relationships with peers, families, schools and society. It teaches them about their rights to be free from discrimination and how to seek help if affected by violence at school, home, online or in the community.” RRRR Levels 1&2, page 9.
Please get in touch with your child’s classroom teacher, Wellbeing Learning Specialist - Madeleine Paslis or Assistant Principal - Amanda Wilson if you have any further questions about this topic and its importance.
Visible Wellbeing
This term, our Visible Wellbeing focus is Habits & Goals. This will involve students attaining a great awareness of good habits and how to break cycles of bad habits. Students will learn how good habits can allow us to work towards our goals, and that goals can provide us with a sense of purpose and motivation to succeed.
Positive Classroom Management Strategies (PCMS)
As part of Hampton Primary School’s utilization of the PCMS strategies, Grade 2 have collaborated to develop an agreed-upon procedure around visiting the bathrooms during class time. This has been done to minimise disruptions to learning time and to ensure students have a consistent understanding of the expectations around this.
