Prep News

This fortnight, our Preps have been introduced to decodable readers (readers that do not have a repeated pattern), therefore we are challenging them to "stretchy snake" the sounds that we know to decode each word. They are all doing a great job!

In Maths we have been exploring measuring HEIGHT, LENGTH, WEIGHT & CAPACITY. We have been doing lots of hands on investigations!

The Preps have enjoyed our community excursions to the Supermarket and this week the Business centre, Library, Op shop, Bank, Community garden and the Post office. We have been discussing the importance of volunteers in our community.
