2025 Parent Payment Contributions
Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Nevertheless, the ongoing support from our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students. We want to thank you for all your support, whether through fundraising or volunteering your time. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we can offer.
Within our school this support has allowed us to:
- Offer a wide range of subjects and special curriculum experiences for our students across all year levels
- Employ a gardener to maintain the school grounds on a limited basis
- Purchase of 20 Apple Ipads – allowing us to provide 1:1 technology for all students
With this in mind, parents are asked to please review the recommended voluntary financial contributions listed on the XUNO Family Smartphone App.
Please note, the amounts shown are only suggested amounts and can be altered if you wish.
Payment Methods
We offer two payment methods to assist our families:
- Xuno Family Smartphone App Preferred method of payment
- Centrepay instalments – for eligible families (see below)
Centrepay
Centrepay instalments are recommended for families who receive Centrelink benefits to assist with Parent Payments. Contact Lisa in the office if you would like further information about Centrepay. Centrepay is an easy and affordable way to pay off your contributions throughout the year.

For New Families to LCS:
If you hold a valid Health Care Card (HCC) on the first day of Term 1 (Monday, 28th January 2025), you must submit a new application for CSEF. Please note that applications do not carry over from previous schools.
For Current Families at LCS:
You do not need to reapply if you received CSEF in 2024 - your application will automatically roll over. A Xuno message has been sent to families advising if your application has been successful.
How to Apply:
CSEF application forms are available from the school office, or alternatively you can download via this link. Please note a copy of your current health care card will need to be returned with your form.
If you have any questions or need assistance with the process, feel free to contact our office at 5486 2474.
School Hats
We have a limited supply of slouch hats and bucket hats available to purchase from the school office. These can be purchased via the QKR App for $15.00 each.
Remember to wear your hats until 1st May.
Headlice / Nits
Parents are advised that there have been reported cases of Headlice & Nits in the school.
Please check your child’s hair regularly and treat with appropriate headlice lotion if any infestation is found.
How to control head lice
Detect - Use metal comb and combing solution to detect and remove head lice and their eggs.
Treat - There are 2 major commonly used head lice treatments; medicated and natural. Use either treatment to kill head lice and break their life cycle.
Prevent - Use egg remover and a metal comb to kill eggs and remove them from the head.
Repeat - Repeat the process after 7 days to effectively kill the cycle.
Clean - Wash bed linen and clothes in warm water with soaking solution to get rid of lice from home.
To ensure that treatment is successful, it is important that all steps 1 to 5 are followed and that no steps are missed.
