WELLBEING

Welcome to Term 1, 2025. We hope everyone has had a restful and happy Christmas and New Year break and is looking forward to the year ahead.
Transitioning to secondary school is a big step, one that can bring lots of big emotions for children and their parents! We have some great resources available to support families during this time, and encourage you to access the SchoolTV website section on school transitions.
Some other helpful resources can be found at the following links:
If you feel that your child/children are finding the transition to school this year a bit more challenging or you are feeling worried, please reach out to us within the Wellbeing Team.
This term, within our Extended Pastoral Care Program, our Wellio sessions will be focusing on inclusivity and belonging, building friends, and increasing emotional awareness and empathy.
Developing a sense of belonging with our college community supports students to develop positive relationships, to feel valued and cared for and to engage well. SchoolTV has some excellent articles, videos, podcasts, and interviews from a range of practitioners within the field of mental health.
