NAPLAN 2025

NAPLAN (National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy) is a national literacy and numeracy assessment that students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sit each year. It is the only national assessment that all Australian students have the opportunity to undertake. Years 3 and 5 students will participate in the NAPLAN from 12th until 24th March.

NAPLAN tests students’ skills in reading, writing and maths. Students will complete four different tests – Writing, Reading, Conventions of Language (spelling, grammar, and punctuation) and Numeracy. All tests are online- students will use computers to complete their tests, except for Year 3 Writing which is paper based.
