Lunch Clubs

Whilst we have had a few cooler days, it definitely did not stop our children from enjoying our beautiful grounds and participating in the many Lunch Time clubs. This week, the LOLs came back in gusto! As always, we welcome any donations of LOLs to add to our collection. The children also enjoyed using the brand new colouring books and, as always, the hoola hoops and dance party were a hit - even with the adults! We would LOVE you to join us too. If you have a special talent or interest (and a WWCC) that you would like to share with the children at lunch times, please contact Emma Ramsamy.

Happy Families

This fortnight, there are 2 new articles linked below for your reading pleasure. The first is "Compassion'' - which reminds us that it is much more than expressing understanding towards others. Our second article for this newsletter is "The Power of School Belonging". This is an interesting article that highlights how important it is to feel connected and 'belong' somewhere and to something. If you would like to provide some feedback please email your thoughts to: admin@safranksth.catholic.edu.au

Insight Articles

Please remember, Insights are released once a week during the term and we will include them in the school newsletter. The membership also allows parents and staff to access all of the previous 300+ Insights articles. To do so at any time, use the below URL and password.

Health & Wellbeing

We love living in Melbourne, but sometimes our unpredictable weather can cause havoc with our health. Sadly, we have had a number of very unpleasant bugs going around. At school, we are doing all we can to keep everyone healthy - including opening our doors for fresh air and maintaining a good routine of hand washing. Whilst we love having ALL children at school EVERY day, we are bound by Victorian Government regulations regarding certain illnesses and school attendance. For more information please see the School Exclusion Table.

We would love to have you join us at St A's - would you like to help out?

As the school year begins, it's a great time to find out how you can become an active member of our vibrant community at St Augustine's. We always appreciate an extra pair of hands to help across the school for a variety of reasons. This term we will have Cooking & Gardening sessions, a number of sporting events and excursions planned. It would be great if you are able to get involved and take part. If you are keen to join in, please make sure you have a current Working With Children Check
