Playgroup returns starting this week and we welcome new members as some of our last year's attendees have now graduated to Kindergarten. If you are free on a Tuesday morning between 9am and 10:30am, please join us in the Parish Centre. You don’t have to come every week, but of course you are always welcome. See below for our Term 1 schedule. All children under school age welcome. Share the news with your friends even if they are not already part of our school community.
Coffee and Connect returns in 2025 but this time on a Wednesday morning. Do you have 30 minutes to spare after drop off? Then why not come along. We will meet in the school grounds after assembly and walk up to Curio Cafe on Clovelly Road together. Coffee is $4. Would be great to see any Parents or Carers who can join. You don’t have to come every week, but come when you can. New Kindy parents also welcome to join.
This term our Year 4 students commence preparing for, and will be receiving the sacrament of First Holy Communion. The flyer below details the important dates for your calendars. Our Term 1 Family Mass and First Holy Communion Commitment Mass is on this Saturday 15th February, 2025 at 5:30pm. A reminder that all Year 4 students receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist, must attend a Commitment Mass this weekend. All families are warmly invited to attend our Term 1 Family Mass. Remember to bring a small plate of food to share following mass.
This year we have 5 Sydney Vinnies Brekky Van Services to service. For new families to the school, the Sydney Vinnies Brekky Van is an initiative of St Vincent de Paul and it provides a cooked breakfast which is served to homeless and disadvantaged individuals, at Central Station each Sunday morning. We at StMM, have a wonderful group of parent volunteers who share the load to provide this service each year. If you would like to join the team in this very rewarding work, please reach out to me via email lucille.gravina@syd.catholic.edu.au for more information and about how you can register.
