District Swimming Carnival

On Monday 17th February 2025, 25 students from Donvale Primary participated in the District Swimming Carnival at Doncaster Aquarena. Our students were exceptional across so many areas and enjoyed competing in the stunning sunshine.

Donvale students should be proud of their individual and team efforts swims in the 50m outdoor pool. Their sportsmanship, comradery and determination to swim their best was clearly evident throughout the afternoon.

All swimmers should feel very proud. Mrs Wilkinson, Mr Rodger and Mrs Dorman all felt very proud to have the privilege of accompanying and witnessing everyone's races.

Looking ahead, we would like to wish the 4 individuals (Anton, Oliver M, Jonti and Jovan) along with the 2 relay teams (9/10 Boys Freestyle and 12 Girls Freestyle) all the best when they compete at the Division Swimming Carnival at Aquanation on Monday 3rd March. Goodluck!

Lunchtime Footy Clinics! 

From Monday, Donvale students will have the opportunity to participate in some lunchtime football clinics run by Donvale Junior Football Club.

These clinics have been organised through AFL Victoria and will all be occurring on the school oval at lunchtime and will be fully supervised by teachers.

Mr Rodgers and Mrs Wilkinson invite all families to please discuss this with their children. It is a free clinic that the students can opt into participating.

Monday 24th February: Grade 3-6

Monday 3rd March: Foundation students with their Year 6 Buddies

Wednesday 5th March: Kick to Kick clinic (all year levels 1-6 welcome)

Friday 7th March: Grade 1-2
