Year 12 Camp
On the 30th to the 31st of January, Year 12 Blue went on our very last camp to Anglesea.
Overall, it was such an incredible bonding experience for all of us to be together before our last year ahead. Spending time together doing activities such as high ropes, mini golf, leadership sessions and an overall favourite, stand up paddle boarding, as well as having the ability to vote for the amazing leaders of Blue House; Harry Lauder, Milla Scott, Bella Lang and Chloe Mackay. They made us feel like our opinions mattered, harnessing a strong sense of inclusion and House spirit. The camp provided us the opportunity to further strengthen our relationships with each other, reflect on the past 6 years at Belmont high through our valedictory session and discuss this year’s opportunities.
During this camp we all made forever lasting memories with our closest friends and prepare for a successful year. We encourage everyone to look forward to this camp as so far it has been a highlight to our school year and Year 12. We would like to give a big thank you to Ms Evenden and Ms Woodhart for taking great care of us and even participating in some of the activities! Especially Ms Evenden conquering high ropes.

Swimming Carnival
The school swimming carnival was a great day filled with excitement, laughter, and Blue House spirit. The highlight of the event was the staff and student race, which had everyone watching on. Blue House students cheered on the teachers and friends as they competed in a relay, with plenty of hilarious moments that kept everyone entertained. Students came up with creative costumes such as Bondi rescue lifeguards, princesses, blue-themed costumes and many more. Overall, the swimming carnival was a perfect mix of competition, creativity, and Blue House school spirit!
