Lacey Young – Year 8

A huge congratulations to Lacey Young for her participation in the recent Geelong City Council Junior Mayor elections. Lacey presented her speech at the council chambers, and from all reports, did a fantastic job. Congratulations Lacey for taking the opportunities available to you. A potential career pathway for our very talented Lacey!

Bronte Leishman – Year 12

Congratulations to our very own Bronte Leishman who has spent her summer dominating on the cricket field. Bronte not only tore up the local region, but managed to make her Big Bash Debut for the Melbourne Renegades, taking a wicket in her first over. She was also invited to train with the Victorian team, as well as sending down thunderbolts to the Australian Women’s team before their Test match against England. Unfortunately for Bronte, an injury will keep her out of action for the next few weeks, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of Bronte’s achievements in future!
