Parent-Teacher Information Sessions a Success!

Our recent Parent-Teacher Information Sessions for the junior classes were a great success! It was wonderful to see so many parents engaging with teachers and learning more about the year ahead. These sessions provided valuable insights into classroom routines, learning expectations, and ways to support children at home e.g. reading each night to and with your child. 

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to these informative discussions and we look forward to meeting with the Year 3-6 parents tonight from 3:30pm. 

Vietnamese Families Meeting 

This year we plan to continue our termly Vietnamese family meetings with Ms Huyen. At our get together last Thursday we had the opportunity to explain how our new Canteen works and answer questions about the school bonus and many other topics. 

We also decided that we would meet each term on a Wednesday at 2:15pm. I will confirm all the dates for the rest of the year shortly.

School Council

Thank you once again to our school council members who attended the last meeting on Tuesday and particularly to those who concluded their term - Fiona, Kate and Sabina. Parents are always welcome to renominate and we are also welcoming new members. The call for nominations will open shortly. Please see additional information via Compass and at the school office.

Whole School Picnic – A Fantastic Community Event!

We are eagerly looking forward to our upcoming Whole School Picnic! This event is always a highlight of the year, bringing together students, families, and staff for a fun-filled afternoon. A special thank you to our students, who are busy planning and organising exciting activities for everyone to enjoy. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect as a school community, and we can’t wait to see you all there! See newsletter for more information. 

Front of school parking

A reminder that the parking at the front of the school is a 'drop off' area only. You can not park and leave your car unattended in that parking area (see picture below). The council has been inspecting this area in the past few days, so please park down near the kinder or in the side streets to avoid receiving a fine. 

Also remember to be safe when dropping off and picking up students by not double parking in that area. 

Year 6 Uniform

A reminder that orders for our Year 6 uniform is due on Friday the 28th of February. This will be the last chance to order for this year. Our Year 6 students look fantastic in their special named tops, proudly showcasing their leadership and school spirit.

Staff list 2025

Please find attached a staff list for 2025. Please take note and ensure that you know your child’s teachers names, room number and what grade they are in.
