In Maths last week we were learning to build and define three-dimensional objects by including length, width and height. As you can see from the photos the students did an excellent job of building objects with three dimensions. This week we are learning to read, write and order large, nine-digit numbers which include numbers to hundreds of millions.
In Geography, we have looked at some interesting places around the world including the Blue Hole in Belize and the largest cave in the world, Son Doong Cave in Vietnam. From next week, we are focusing on places in Asia.
In Reading groups, we have a variety of activities to rotate through including Behind the News, School magazine, some very interesting texts, and reading with Sora on the chromebooks.
Congratulations to those who did well at the swimming carnival. I heard all the leaders did a great job assisting Mrs Abell and the teachers. Well done!
