Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to all students who competed, cheered and came along to our swimming carnival last Friday 14th February. It was amazing to see all the students supporting each other, having a go and pushing themselves to achieve their personal best.

It was a glorious day for a swimming carnival, the sun was out and conditions were perfect. The day was filled with Green, Red and Purple colours, powerful chants and outstanding sportsmanship in and out of the water. The swimming carnival provided many opportunities for our students to shine with impressive individual and team performances and lots of fun in the novelty events.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our Kindergarten students participate in their events. We hope they enjoyed their first swimming carnival! The level of participation in the events was impressive. Our students embraced the day and all who attended should be proud of their efforts! The students' support for each other was amazing to witness and provided a great atmosphere all day long.

Thank you to our AMAZING P&F for keeping us fed! The house coloured cakes went down a treat and kept the energy levels up to get us through the day. Thank you also to all of the parents who helped out during the day. We have a wonderful community that allows the day to run smoothly and all the many hands made the day run faultlessly.

For all our students who have made it through to the next level we wish you all the best of luck at the Armidale Catholic Schools Swimming Carnival on Friday, 28th February in Gunnedah.

We will now swap the swimmers for joggers and look forward to the Cross Country Carnival on 21st March 2025.
