2026 GOAL SETTING MEETINGS - SEMESTER 1

Tuesday 17th February and Wednesday 18th February 2026 

Welcome to the 2026 school year. 

As we begin the year, our focus is on establishing meaningful learning goals in partnership with families. These goals are monitored throughout the year, with ongoing feedback provided alongside evidence and observations. Each new goal is designed to build on students’ prior progress and extend their learning. 

This year, student learning goals support the development of the whole child and include: 

• Social and Emotional Learning Goal 
• English Learning Goal: Reading 
• English Learning Goal: Writing 
• Mathematics Learning Goal 

Student learning goals form an important element of the assessment and reporting process, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0. 

GOAL SETTING MEETINGS SEMESTER 1: 2026

Please book a meeting with your child’s teacher via PAM.  

This meeting provides an opportunity to discuss the start of the school year, how your child has settled in, and to establish personalised learning goals that reflect their development, learning, beginning of year assessments, and social and emotional needs.
