1/2 T

Welcome Back to Term 2!

I hope all of our students and families had a wonderful and refreshing break over Easter. It’s been lovely to see everyone’s smiling faces and positive energy as we begin a brand new term.

We have lots of exciting things planned! Our Inquiry unit, Raw to Ready, will take us on a hands-on learning journey all about healthy eating and food production. We’ll be exploring where our food comes from, how it’s processed, and how we can make nutritious choices every day.

This term, I’m really looking forward to continuing to work closely with you to support your child’s learning. As always, if you have any questions or would like to get in touch, please don’t hesitate to contact me at: tamara.o@sfxfrankston.catholic.edu.au

Here’s to a fantastic Term 2 ahead, filled with curiosity, creativity, and collaboration!

Warm regards,

Miss Tamara

Easter Rotations

At the end of last term, students took part in Easter Week rotations led by the Grade 6s, focusing on the key events of the Easter story.

Maths

Miss Tamara's maths group has started the term with a counting and place value unit. The students have been working hard, using base ten blocks to further develop their understanding of hundreds, tens and ones. We will also be learning about units of measurement, telling the time, and addition and subtraction.
