What a busy term we are having! Here are some highlights of our Term 1 Mandarin:
Our BPS Chinese Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 3rd. It’s going to be an incredibly engaging day filled with enjoyment, learning, and the vibrant celebration of Chinese language and culture. This event not only offers a platform to experience the richness of Chinese heritage but also serves as a powerful means to foster understanding and respect for diverse cultures, traditions, and beliefs. Come on, let’s make this celebration truly unforgettable!
2025 is the Year of the Snake. BPS is thrilled to host the Chinese New Year Art Exhibition on Chinese Day. The exhibition will kick off at 2:45 pm in each classroom. We sincerely invite parents and family members to join us, celebrating this cultural festival and appreciating the wonderful artworks on display!
Forty-five students participated in this competition. 谢谢 (xiè xiè Thank) to all the participants for your hard work and active involvement. 谢谢 (xiè xiè Thank) as well to all the teachers for casting your votes. The winners of the 2025 Chinese New Year Poster Competition will be announced on our Chinese Day, April 3rd.
Sally and Ella, the Language Captains of 2025, presented the 'Mandarin Moment' at assembly in Term One. They are also going to host the special assembly on Chinese Day. Well done Sally & Ella!
