Religious Dimension

Welcome to Term 2 - Gospel of John 20:1-9

       He is Risen - Alleluia!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is so great to return this term and the sun is still shining. We had some glorious weather during our Easter break which we are truly grateful for. We are at the end of the Lenten Season and now celebrating the Easter Season. Our students are currently learning about the Resurrection in their classes, developing their understanding of the gift of eternal life that Jesus gave us. Jesus was a true follower of God's plan and although divine, he was a human example of vulnerability and a model for forgiveness simply because he loves us. I sincerely pray that Easter was a time of love and peace for all our families at St. John's community.

Yesterday, Verona sent out the ECSI survey which stands for Enhancing Catholic School Identity.

Could I please ask you to participate via the link Verona sent on PAM email. It needs to be completed by 5 May so that all the data can be collected.

This survey provides information about our school’s Catholic identity from a Parent, Staff member and Year 5/6 perspective.

This survey asks various questions and seeks to identify where we are in our journey to be a contemporary Catholic school that exists in the midst of a world that has various religious and non- religious views.

Each family is encouraged to complete the survey to provide an authentic picture of our Catholic school.

The survey does take about 55 minutes to complete. Your time in completing the survey is acknowledged and appreciated and will  help us with our school review with MACS next year.
