New - Welcome to our 2024 Preps
We have welcomed our 2024 preps for two of their three transition sessions, with their last visit next week.
They have spent time in the Prep rooms for some activities and spent some time in the playground and also met their buddies.
We look forward to seeing you all again here at St Marys as you begin your journey into Primary School.
New - Look Out Mr Preston
After all the fun of watching Liz get Soaked last week, we have some exciting news for you all... We have hit our next target!
Look out Mr Preston its your turn, and this time its SLIME
For students to go into the draw to be one of the students that gets to slime Mr Preston, all you have to do is make sure you have your profile set up.
A Friendly reminder, the colour run is now on Thursday November 9th and we will be sending out more information about the event next week.
Don’t Forget the class with the most funds raised prior to the Fun Run, will have the VIP Tent on the day filled with goodies!
Currently 1/2 JM are in the lead with 5/6TJ second only $380 behind them.
NEW - 1/2 Learn Some Reggae Music
To link in with our whole school Inquiry focus this term, we are looking at different countries in Performing Arts… their popular music genres and dances!
Today, the Grade 1/2 students travelled to the Caribbean and listened to some Reggae music!!
New - Preps Printing Art
The creative Grade Prep artists have been exploring the process of PRINTING to create artworks.
They used cut up sponges and foam to create these amazing flower gardens. No paintbrushes used.
Stay tuned for our beautiful fold-print butterflies which will be added next week.
New - Waterbombing Liz
Thankyou Liz Turk for being a great sport celebrating reaching one of our fundraising goals!

Our P&F have some very exciting activities planned for our ColourRun (November 9th)
Mr Preston is our next target and this time we are bringing the Slime out.
All children with a ColourRun profile will go in the draw to Slime Mr Preston, so if you haven't set up your profile.. you can still do it over the weekend!
Reminder: the class with the most funds raised before the ColourRun will spend the event in the VIP Tent
New - 2024 Year 12 Notre Dame Student Leaders
Notre Dame College recently announced the Student Leaders and Specialist Leaders for 2024.
The announcement and hand-over were presented at the 2023 final assembly last week as the curent Year 12's were farewelled and now commence their exams. We wish you all the very best for the coming weeks.
Congratulations to all the successful leaders of 2024, but in particular to our past students. We know you will be amazing role models for NDC students and the College community and will do St Mary's Primary proud.
