Prep News

The Preps have had a wonderful time this term learning through play as part of our unit of inquiry into ‘How the world works’. Through this unit the Preps explored the central idea “The properties of materials affect design and construction”. 

This exploration took the Preps down many lines of inquiry leading them to test materials, categorize, build, plan and play. It was wonderful to see the Preps take on different roles such as city planner, architect, builder, designer, chef, carpenter and much more!  

The grand opening of Prep city was a highlight of the year for Preps, teachers and parents alike.
