Careful Cobbers 🚗

An opportunity arose for some of our Year 6 Students to drive the Careful Cobber Cars as part of the Show Us Ya Wheels event held in Numurkah on Sunday 15 October 2023. These students were fantastic ambassadors for our school, driving young children around a designated track and teaching others how to drive the vehicles. 

NPS was lucky enough to keep the Careful Cobber cars a few extra days and offer rides to all our students at school also. We would like to thank Bob Schirmer and the members of the Historical Society who facilitated this event.

Year 3/4 Murray Life Adventure Camp 🏕️

The 3-4 Camp at Murray Life Adventures 2023

What an EXCELLENT camp it was! MLA is a camp for the lively, with a long list of exciting activities, including zip-lining over a lake, a giant swing, absiling, bush-surfing (ask the campers!) canoeing, archery, an obstacle course, there really was something for everyone to enjoy.

Our evenings were also busy, a campfire, complete with roasted (sometimes incinerated) marshmallows, a talent show bulging with brilliance.

Food too was greeted with enthusiasm! schnitzels and chips, barbecue, coco-pops and vegemite toast were devoured by the ton, and frightening looking self-constructed wraps were gobbled every lunchtime.

Our facilitators were also excellent Redfin (Fred) was the leader, he tells some fishy tales, his sidekicks were Jade, Reece, Mariah… all great fun.

We were very proud of the way the pupils showed the Numurkah Primary School Values.
